SUUNS, a Montreal trio since 2007, mixes experimental rock, minimalist electronics and krautrock. "The Breaks" (2024) is more melodic but still cerebral. Intense performances between tension and letting go.

SUUNS are a Montreal band formed in 2007, renowned for their unique blend of experimental rock, minimalist electronica, krautrock and post-punk. Since their debut album Zeroes QC, the trio (Ben Shemie, Joseph Yarmush, Liam O'Neill) have forged a distinctive sonic identity: tense, repetitive, atmospheric, always on the edge.

On stage, SUUNS deliver intense, immersive performances that combine muted tension with controlled release. After more than fifteen years of a demanding and coherent career, the band has established itself as an essential reference on the international independent scene.
