RISE UP, the 4th album from Sarthe-based band NAKED (in a sphere), immediately sets the scene for the band's precise, energetic progressive rock, with its opening track Try to Hold; a feelgood first single that perfectly illustrates the power of the rhythm and melodies, and makes you want to hear more.
However, NAKED (in a sphere) have not forgotten their trip-hop electro roots, and in this new album they mix tracks that take the time to set the scene, to take the listener on a quest that combines gentleness and power; and other tracks that remind us that we are all made of strength and conviction, and that hope for better days guides our steps, our choices, our struggles and our dreams, with the closing track Hope.
Throughout its 12 tracks, RISE UP invites us not to give in to temptation, to stand up for what matters most, to accept the need to stand down and rely on others, to clench our fists, to fight, without forgetting to smile at the moments of joy and at our loved ones.
