Stage de fabrication de harpe celtique - Klangberg

Celtic harp making course - Klangberg

With a public collection of almost 3,000 world music instruments, the CPFI - Musiques du Monde is transforming itself into a major instrument-making workshop. Come and learn harp making by building your own instrument over 6 days, with the help of Susann Chuchollek from Klangberg, in a friendly, serious and relaxed atmosphere.
The instrument being built is a 23-string Celtic harp, a model designed to allow half-tones to be added at a later date. The wood was carefully selected and prepared at the CPFI - Musiques du Monde, and the Savarez strings and fittings were supplied. The necessary tools are provided by the CPFI - Musiques du Monde workshops.

- Suitable for all ages 15 and over
- 570€ including materials (wood, pegs, saddle, strings, etc.), use of tools and technical and teaching support. You'll go home with your own instrument!
- Registration required, places are limited
