As part of their "Film Professions" series, this month the Prog'amateurs (volunteers from Les Cinéastes cinema) are organising a meeting with Gilles Cousin, a director from Sarth.

In 1988, he shot Rouget le Braconnier, based on a rural true story from the middle of the 19th century that was told in the evenings in the Anjou and Sarthe regions. A passionate man, Gilles Cousin will talk enthusiastically about his career and the incredible difficulties he encountered, particularly during the making of this film.

It's an opportunity for the older audience to see again, and for the younger ones to discover, some truly talented actors and actresses who have made their mark on the French audiovisual landscape.
