Newroz, Cie La Meute

Around a round stage and a huge perch, Bahoz Temaux questions our intimate relationship with our culture, our origins and influences.

Newroz means new day in Kurdish. To celebrate it, Bahoz Temaux has created a Persian-sounding circus-concert. A musical and acrobatic allegory of the identity crisis of a man living with the prejudices linked to his gender, colour and double culture. It's also a play on appearances, a dialogue between a heart made of music and a body playing with risk. Acrobatics become an outlet, sublimated by the delicacy of poetic thoughts, a testimony imbued with gentleness and tolerance.
