The Messthetics & James Brandon Lewis

Formed in 2018, The Messthetics are a supergroup made up of bassist Joe Lally and drummer Brendan Canty, from legendary punk-hardcore project Fugazi, and guitarist Anthony Pirog.

This jazz punk jam trio was soon joined by saxophonist James Brandon Lewis, who brought a new dimension to their songs, taking their musical explorations even further.

Their first four-piece album was released in spring 2024 on the legendary Impulse label!
