It's easy to imagine a joint rebuilding of places and social ties. In any case, it's a play that lifts us up and lifts us off our feet!

The show "CHANTIER! La tournée du Coq" will take place at the heart of the National Congress of the Compagnons Passants Charpentiers du Devoir. But who are they?

The Association Ouvrière des Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France (AOCDTF) is an association that brings together men and women from more than 30 trades around the values of fraternity, generosity and solidarity. It trains young people in companies and in our training centres throughout France. And yes, 50% of carpenters undergo their initial training with the Compagnons du Devoir. But the Compagnons also offer a training programme based on travel and the Tour de France, to help young people achieve their full potential in and through their trade, in a spirit of openness and sharing.

Over the weekend of 25-27 June, more than 700 carpenters from all over France will be meeting in Le Mans. Journeymen and touring carpenters on the Tour de France will be getting together to discuss technical advances in the carpentry trade and develop training. What could be better than a fraternal event to share this experience that combines theatre, laughter, questions about our future and a GREAT show!


From 6pm onwards, you can come along to the exhibition centre to meet the journeymen, find out about the training courses, and see some of their work, including the work they do to receive receipts in the form of a small exhibition.
