From 3 to 22 September 2026, the Institut d’Acoustique Graduate School is hosting the photography exhibition ‘La Science taille XX elles – Pays de la Loire Edition’.

This exhibition showcases 24 portraits of female scientists with inspiring career paths, taken by photographer Vincent Moncorgé. Whether researchers, lecturer-researchers, engineers, PhD students or technicians, they work in universities, laboratories and companies across the Pays de la Loire region and illustrate the richness and diversity of careers in research.
Launched in 2018 by the CNRS and the Femmes & Sciences association, this exhibition aims to promote the role of women in science, to challenge the gender stereotypes that persist in scientific professions, and to encourage young people – particularly young girls – to consider careers in science.
