An event organised as part of the ‘Faites Lire!’ initiative at Espace Bis (Librairie Bulle – 18 rue Saint-Martin – Le Mans). A special opportunity to chat with Sean Murphy about his work and his comic books. Sean Murphy, born in 1980 in Nashua (New Hampshire), developed a passion for comics at a very early age. After studying at the Massachusetts College of Art and then the Savannah College of Art and Design, he began his career at Dark Horse working on *Star Wars*. A recipient of the American Library Association Award, he subsequently joined DC Comics, where he created major works such as *Punk Rock Jesus* and *Batman: The White Knight*. In 2024, he revisited the legend of Zorro with *Zorro from the Dead*. Sean Murphy is now regarded as one of the great comic book creators. Free, open access.
