Round-table discussions and meetings centred on fantasy literature, as part of the ‘Faites Lire!’ initiative and in partnership with the University of Le Mans and the Fantastinet association.

As part of the ‘Faites Lire!’ initiative, come and discover or rediscover fantasy literature and the social issues it addresses through round-table discussions combining forward-thinking perspectives with academic insights, alongside an exhibition dedicated to the world of the imagination. Come and immerse yourself in these realms of reflection, imagination and magic.
Round-table programme:
12.00–13.00: Faced with a changing world: Adapt, transform or panic? (Marie Lorna Vaconsin and Rosine Huguet).
1.30 pm – 2.30 pm: Between ice and fire: How research and the imagination decipher a warming Earth (Jean-Krug and Edouard Ravier).
4.00 pm – 5.00 pm: Algorithms and Literature: What future for literature in the age of AI? (Xavier Dollo and Nicolas Dugué).
5.00 pm – 6.00 pm: Systemic Violence and Science Fiction: When the Imagination Holds Up a Mirror to the Real World (Katia Lanero Zamora and Angelina Etiemble).
