Les Cinéastes cinema is delighted to welcome Anna Falguères, production designer, to mark the release of Emmanuel Marre’s *Notre Salut* (winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival).

She has worked with Mia Hansen-Love, Catherine Corsini, Tonie Marshall and Joachim Lafosse. Her collaboration with Emmanuel Marre began with *Rien à foutre*, which he co-directed with Julie Lecoustre.

*Notre Salut* is an essential political arthouse film for the themes it explores, questioning in particular our silence and docility in the face of fascist ideas that are gaining ground and those who pave the way for them. Emmanuel Marre draws on the story of his great-grandfather Henri Marre, basing the film on his correspondence. He delves into particularly intimate aspects of the national narrative that have been concealed until now. In the role of Henri Marre, Swann Arlaud is outstanding as a Pétainist civil servant under the Vichy regime.
