Body Horror formed in Tottenham in 2016, at the heart of London’s warehouse party scene. Blending post-punk with influences from the London rave scene, the band sits halfway between The Prodigy and The Birthday Party. The rhythmic delivery of Welsh frontman Gethyn Thomas, combined with their industrial beats and sharp, sequenced guitars, creates an innovative sound that has quickly earned them a near-cult following. Steve Lamacq, the legendary presenter on BBC Radio 6, describes them as follows: “They offer rhythmic, hard-hitting post-punk tinged with electro – a sort of wild New Order-style soundtrack, overlaid with an unrepentant growl.”
