To mark the ‘Water in the Spotlight’ theme of the Cité Plantagenêt Plant Festival, I invite you to slow down and enjoy a creative interlude. Together, we’ll paint a delicate water lily in watercolour, discovering the magic of water, the transparencies and the play of colours unique to this technique. I’ll guide you step by step through this creative activity, which is accessible to everyone, even if you’ve never tried watercolour before. You’ll leave with your artwork and, I hope, a desire to continue observing the poetry of nature.

Workshop programme:

• Welcoming participants and introducing the experience

• Discovering the magic of water and pigments

• Step-by-step creation of the water lily
