At La Fabrique – Rêve de ville, the CAUE de la Sarthe invites you to explore the history of the venue and its neighbourhood to discover architecture, landscape and urban planning! On the programme: urban investigations, exploring building materials, model-making workshops, sound recordings… and creating an exhibition!

Programme:

Day 1: La Fabrique in its neighbourhood – Getting to know the venue. A meet-up for young people, discovery games exploring the La Fabrique building, and an exploration of building materials and historical traces.
Day 2: Discovering the neighbourhood, its history and its characteristics.
Day 3: Model-making and sound workshops to bring to life, in three dimensions and in words, the various discoveries made, from the interior spaces of La Fabrique to its immediate surroundings.
Day 4: Staging the week’s workshops; creating a display to showcase the various creations and discoveries.

The course concludes with a pop-up exhibition, presented on the final evening and then open to the public at La Fabrique for one week.
