In the search for true love, one idiot can often hide another!
Elsa, a single woman in her thirties, is buckling under the pressure. Pressure from her mum, who dreams of grandchildren, and from her best friend, who insists on setting her up with the first person who comes along – even though she’s single herself.
But in reality, Elsa just wants to eat sushi whilst watching a good TV series and be left in peace!
At a time when everything moves at breakneck speed, and disillusioned by dating apps, she signs up for a ‘speed dating’ event that turns out to be more eventful than expected. Between an unfriendly stockbroker, a genius of ‘sacred masculinity’ and a man convinced he was your husband in a past life, Elsa finds herself on a string of encounters as zany as they are unexpected.
